I don't think that's normal. AFAIK Chess.com won't reset your rating if you haven't played for years, unless you've been playing only 10|0 blitz games before it got changed to rapid back in September 2020 which you clearly didn't... (https://www.chess.com/news/view/10-minute-chess-now-rapid-rated-bullet-ratings-increased) Try reporting it as a bug and see if you can get a premium membership lol.
I haven't played for years and when I came back my rating resets back to 800. Is this normal?
