This is my first Blackmar-Diemer Gambit game ever.  I lost on time but was very pleased with the gambit.  I have included notes and if you click in the move list there are a few games in there and variations by Rybka through Fritz.

I like playing around with the BDG myself, but that wasn't really a very good example.  For one, black declined the gambit by not playing exf3.  He played a poor opening after that as well -- for instance, he missed several opportunities to win the e-pawn, starting with 6...Nxe4.  Not to rain on your parade, but most games you'll be tested much tougher than that.

I posted an article about it (I like it very much).

Bye.

Oh, I can't wait to get more into this gambit.  This was my first time and just had a great time playing it.  I was disappointed the opponent didn't take on f3 also.  Maybe I'll start a tournament or something.  Thanks for looking at the game!
