I was once very pleased to see to deliver the classic smothered mate. I played Qg8+ and after Rxg8, I could play Nf7 mate.
The only problem is that I had miscalculated that he could simply play Kxg8 and take my Queen for nothing.

My best queen sac was when I sacked my queen for a forced checkmate in 5 I think... using the two rooks. At the end I skewered the opponent's queen and king. I didn't get to take it though; it was checkmate! I've also gotten a smothers mate before.
I had only one queen sacrifice and it was just like yours.

It is a basic move, but good job anyway
Queen sacrifices have got to be my favorite tactic. This wasn't really a sacrifice since its a forced mate but it still felt good. Sacrifice was on move 16.
