Have to say that NM JMB2010 is a little inspiring for me.

Maybe one day for me :)

oh 1 more thing..

I certainly won't be the only one being cautioned or banned..

Insults of any kind are not tolerated and I don't think chess.com is going to be biased as you are being on the issue.

I was insulted first and so retaliated... I was then insulted by numerous others and so relaiated again..

They will equally be banned if I am banned... that's complete equality

no one insulted you.

Thanks, Blackenne, and nice game JMB...infinitely better than my first recorded game Tongue Out

The game is so exciting, it actually gives me a funny pounding feeling in my arse.

You were in trouble in that opening but of course you knew that already :-)  8.Bg5 with too much pressure against the Nf6 and much of Four Knights Theory centers around avoiding white's Nd5 and Bg5.  6...h6! would have maintained the balance.

White was done when he lost the exchange willingly with Nxf7?? with nothing to show for it.  12...a6 would have been more flexible though all dark pawns with a lightsquared bishop coordinate well since the bishop covers where the pawns don't.  13.Bxc5? just digs himself in deeper, giving you a much better grip over the important e4 point while opening the b-file.

You should have agreed to a queen exchange because the g-pawn wouldn't be available to coordinate with an f-pawn anymore while you'd simplify while ahead in material. Bh3 then would severely restrict the opponent's king ...Qg6 still keeps a good edge though.

15...Qxg3 leading to a more favorable exchange for white than the first queen trade offer.

16...Rb8 principle of two weaknesses at work as 17.b3 is required weakening him on the light squares and the plan of a5-a4 threatens to further weaken.

Your opponent's slick idea of playing for stalemate didn't pay off.  Maybe he didn't understand that he had a pawn move at the end of the forcing line somehow?

An intersting game and you've came a very long way.
