Hi everyone!
So I had lost a few games to the 1800-rated bot Wally (he always plays those aggressive openings!).
I finally was able to win--with the black pieces and on challenge mode--but he made some weird moves, in my opinion. I have copied the game below.
On move 11, he moved his king so he could no longer castle. On move 13, he gave me a chance to take his queen (Botez gambit, anyone?). On move 28, he didn't take my rook when he easily could have.
Those were all blunders in my opinion... but when I looked at the engine analysis afterwards, all three moves were shown as either "excellent" or "best."
Am I missing something? And more importantly, did I play well, or did the bot "let me win?" Here's the game. Thank you everyone!!!
