Hello everyone. I've been playing chess for a while and I've had a hard time overcoming the 700 ELO barrier. I have studied with the Chess.com beginner videos, I have done a lot of problems and I have read a couple of chess books for beginners. However, once I passed the 700 ELO barrier, I have been surprised how fast I have reached 800 and so on. Why do you think this is?

Why do you think this is? I suspect that from 750 ELO upwards players make fewer stupid mistakes (we make many mistakes, of course, but not as bad as at lower scores) which makes it easier to understand the opponent's strategy. This is one of the considerations I have made to myself but I would like to share these thoughts with you.
Long live chess!
