I have order 7 books from amazon which include every opening by white and some by black including dvds but i really want to return these dvd cause unlike books are very informative

And descriptive but the book i order is how to reasses your chess volume 4 by jerry silman i do have his other material think like a grand master and play like a grandmaster which i downloaded from an e book site in which you can read the books without purchasing them but anyways i read jerry silmans volume 3 and let me tell that shit is challenging i havent got past the chapter where he talks about knights only pertaining bishops and how minor piece activity is key advantage in the middlegame. Its not that im reading slow its that its really challenging to the core i think in one of jerry silmans chapters material imbalances and thinking technique he tries challenges the reader to think like a master or someone in a over 2000 level its a good goooood book and im hoping to read both books at the same time or atleast try.

Because "pertain" is completely the wrong word for this.  Pertain means to be part of, or is appropriate for.

Examples:

1. And how exactly does Bill Clinton's impeachment pertain to the subject at hand?  We are talking about movies here!

2. Books pertaining to Lincoln's Assassination can be found in the history section of the store.  That's on the 2nd floor, sir.

Is the word you are looking for "preceding"?  As in Knights preceding Bishops?  Come before?  As in the old adage "Develop Knights before Bishops"?  Or is it something else?  "Pertaining" is DEFINITELY NOT the right word there.  That's why people are asking.

Well im sorry instead of correcting my grammar or sentence structure or whatever your cup of tea, why dont any of you atleast ask questions about the book or try to discuss it with me obviously its a good book by an international master. It explains it things more than some of these chess.com videos can.

And btw thriller fan

Since you had made me research the word pertain here are some examples for the following definition

per·tain

pərˈtān/

verb

1.

be appropriate, related, or applicable.

"matters pertaining to the organization of government"

synonyms: concern, relate to, be related to, be connected with, be relevant to, regard, apply to, be pertinent to, refer to, have a bearing on, appertain to, bear on, affect, involve, touch on

The chapter i was on only involved, touched on, regarded the section in the minor piece middle game how bishops are somewhat stronger than knights can be divided in 3 groups, good bad and active

I believe this man made a video series based off the book hes got.

That app looks interesting. I might try it later. He did say it doesn't work on Kindle ebooks...and I have several.

I recently bought Capablanca's "Chess Fundamentals" from Sony. Can you believe it...all the illustrations are missing! What a rip off. There is no way to read the book without the illustrations referenced when they are all absent.

Idk what to say man but when i downloaded my e books i got them from scribd only 9.99 for 24 hours lets just say i didnt have to mess with all that messy funny stuff but i know im lucky to get those availabe e books from jerry silman

Check out this book: "How to make actual sentences so that people can read what you write." You may find it worthwhile.

On scribd you can either subscribe, like you said for 9.99 a month or for a 24 hour access pass you can just pay 9.99 to download all the content you want until your 24 hours is up. But unlike the problems you had with the sony e book reader store because of the lack of illustrations you were getting from sony i know that scribd seems pretty reliable in the content you may get.

I never heard of scribd so I just went to see for myself.

They mentioned a $9/month subscription fee. What do you get for that? Can you read everything you want for the subscription fee? Are you just getting a 24-hour ebook loan and then it self destructs from your reader...like my DirecTv videos? And, what do you mean by "messy stuff"? Do you mean that you just get a pdf download and don't need an ebook reader?

Returnofcookiemonster

Seems like a good book pretty sure it helped you in your grey areas of how to make your sentences worthwhile.
