my opponent is still on vacation.

Vacation times should, without a doubt, be gone from daily chess.
No they shouldn't, but 90 days is absurd! 90 is the limit here for paid members.
If you go where REAL correspondence chess is played (ICCF), first off, there is none of this days per move sh*t. It is either 10 moves in 30, 40, or 50 days with 30, 40, or 50 days added to each clock after moves 10, 20, 30, etc, or else a triple Block System which is basically a starting time, like say 100 days, and an increment for the first 50 moves, say 4 days. That would be a triple Block 600. The game will take at most 600 days total. Each player starts with 50 days on the clock, 50 days in the bank (in essence 100 days, but a max of 50 days per move) and a 4 day increment. So if you spend 12 hours on move 1, 4 days are added. 12 hours are put back on your clock and the rest is put in the bank, so after move 1, you'd have 50 days on the clock, 53 days 12 hours in the bank.
Triple Block does not allow vacation, but you have 50 days, not 3, to move. You, of course, cannot spend 50 days every move, your time would run out.
In the 10 moves in 50 days format, which is NOT the same as 5 days per move as I could spend 1 day on move 1, 0 days on move 2, 2 days on move 3, and 9 days on move 4 (impossible here at 5 moves per day), there is a vacation system. It is 45 days per year! Here, since you accrue by month, it should be 4 days per month with a hard cap at 48 days. Once you reach 48 days, you stop accruing until you use some of it! 90 is too much. If both sides are capped at 48 per year, that is at most just over 3 months pause time per year (48 days by each player) and not 6 months.

Or just let people grow up and learn what daily/correspondence games are and what they used to be before the internet. Scrap it altogether? I hope it never happens, I’ll have to go elsewhere as i have very little desire to be rushed, good grief there is already plenty of that in life as it is is. My opinion: If seeing your opponent on vacation really annoys you that much, then either 1- don’t start a daily/correspondence game or, 2- resign yourself (ratings are not the be-all-end-all of the world) or, 3- suck it up buttercup and move on and play another game until they come back. It really got under my skin at first, but I’ve learned to dismiss it altogether, i don’t care. There are too many other things, more important things to be concerned about in life. Who goes on vacation and for what reason isn’t near the top of my list. If needed, report the vacation abuse (if you suspect that it is indeed abuse) and choose to move on.
I believe the rules are available on the mobile app: https://support.chess.com/article/361-what-is-daily-chess

Have you tried sending him a ecard asking whether everything is straight and you are busy waiting for him to cum back?
lol
Another option is to enter "no vacation" tournaments. I've hosted a couple themed tournaments for daily chess that don't allow vacation time and they've always gotten a decent turn out

Never been a fan of correspondence Chess myself. Too many opportunities for computer assistance. Yet, most of my online friends always challenge me to these corresp games.

Another player I know is in vacations too and we are in a tournament. It was said without vacation, but that restriction was not made in the creation of the tournament. So the whole group, all the players are waiting, because the games are complete and everyone is waiting for this guy who is on vacation all the time. What can be done? Thank you very much.

Yes, I tried without answer.
and I report to the organization, but I think there are no penalties for those who pay. Because I report cheaters who do not pay and their account is canceled, I report others who pay and nothing happens. ¿?

At least one player I know starts tournaments, then use 'vacation'. Believing Starting and finishing last is a slight advantage .

Well, I guess you have to blame the person who failed to make it a no vacation tournament.
As long as that player is not stalling lost games, I do not think there's anything you can do.

I've been on vacation for about a week since I need a break from my daily games. Is that so wrong?
Nooooope
Why? No-one forces you to play it if you do not want to. Why do you think those who do should not be able to?
