Reputation? You care about reputation on a chess site?

provisional

His opponent wasn’t provisional though. Probably trolling.

when their rating is exactly 2000 and their a decently new member, probably provisional.

its called self respect, which you apparently have been struggling to attain, judging by the way you are an arse most of the time. so yeah, some people care about their reputation. heres an ex. you were racist, and you got exposed, you'd rather that not happen, wouldn't you?

thats called caring about a reputation.

"...i also play 4 hours of chess on school days..."

4 hours a day X 5 days a week = 20 hours of study a week.

"...and 5-6 hours of chess on the weekends."

So lets say you are "studying" 25-26 hours per week.  And after 1500+ games, and 8 months of speed chess.  Youre a 1200 rapid player.   I dont think your "study" plan is working.

In fact what exactly is your study plan?

If you think my post was "hostile".  How do you make it through day to day life???  I wasn't being "hostile" I was being honest, and asking questions.  Regardless of age.  If you're putting in 25 hours a week of study, you should be showing more improvement, especially if the OP wants to make GM in 7 years.  Give me an 11 year old with an average interest in chess, and I can have them playing OTB chess at a USCF C class level in 6 months.  A 1200 rapid online rating isnt impressive.

And im not saying the OP doesn't want to improve, that he isnt serious about improving, and its always good to have goals.  But whatever the OP is doing isnt working.  And he certainly isnt going to make GM in 7 years, let alone playing speed chess.

did you listen to anything I said? first of all I highly doubt an 11yo could be c class in 6 months second of all 600 points above school average is a lot maybe not for an adult but a lot for a 11yo
