Can someone tell me why my rating dropped by 600 points back to the "start" rating of 1200? I'd last played "live chess" in March and then played a couple of games a few days ago and noticed my rating had reset for some reason.

Oh, I see what happened. Thanks, I tried playing a game under 3 minutes and I hadn't done that b4 so it gave me the default rating. When I went back to a slower time control my rating was back to normal.
