I used to be captain of my chess club till we moved. Unfortunately, my new school doesn't allow us to have one, nor provide funding for one........it's all about football.

I was the captain of the club at my school, now I work as a part-time chess teacher there, but they don't care about the club!
We don't have enought boards, no clocks, and no classroom! The classes are in the (oh, I forgot the word, that place who sells food in schools, lol)

maybe you can find others in your area who lke chess to help out with supplies
the more you get playing then others will seeit and try it too

Football is the best sport there is that is why it is all about football.
Football is not the best sport in my list.... 
So in my school there's a finally gonna be a Chess Club, that I'm in, and I'm one of the teacher there, that my work is to teach other students chess.
Then, after we make tournaments we may have the opportunity to do chess tournaments in other schools!!!
