I guess a lot of opiate users are having good success switching to kratom. You might want to look into it for treating your condition. Obviously I am not a doctor and your mileage may vary.

So I have this medical problem (being old) that causes me to require narcotics sometimes. I can't play chess worth a darn on narcotics (yes, I know some of you think I can't play worth a darn when I am not on narcotics. Be nice). I can play better chess when I am drunk.
But years ago, I learned that opiates are the best cure for OCD and that many addicts are self-medicating for obsessive thoughts. It made me wonder if maybe all these people who are better at chess than me are really just suffering from OCD and are mentally ill. Anybody think that is the case?
