National Chess Day 2012

Does anybody know the official national chess day for 2012?

Google it.

I did the google thing but nothing came up for 2012, only 2011's day of 10/9 came up.

I got the definition of "it"--now what?

It's been October 9th since 1976.

What fun would that be?  If someone else Google's it and posts it here, then we'll all know.  Plus, in the mean time, we all get to chastise the OP for not Googling it himself.

I refuse to recognize the validity of National Chess Day until there is also a National Men's Chess Day.
