The answer is simple. The advantage of the initiative that you had over black to be able to castle sooner, is negated by the choice of Nc3. That is why most systems castling queen side aren't as popular or as used as king side castling systems.

Also, in my opinion, black's aggressive options in the center, if Nc3 is played, are more forcing than the replies to Nf3.

1.Nf3 is the better move

To everyone advocating a line like this one or the Parham, that the computer says is a win for white or a draw with best play needs to understand these 2 very important factors in determining the viability of these choices. One is that they aren't Magnus Carlsen and two, they aren't a 3000+ elo computer, so good luck figuring out the tedious lines required to make them work against good players who see their weaknesses versus other human players.

I don't really want to hear about blitz and bullet usuage. You could play worse crap, that is even a forced loss and it still might win in either of those types of settings.

Nf3 is generally more commonly played because it’ll only take one more move to prepare kingside castling and protect your king behind a row of pawns (for White). Black also tends to play Nf6. After castling, your king will be safe for you to develop queenside. That's why moving the knight to the f-file is preferred.

Yes Nf3 prepares the powerful O-O.
Moreover Nc3 interferes with the oft useful c4 or c3.
