how do i join the tournament?

i always get this message:

You must have a timeout ratio lower than 10% to play in this tournament.

Play more games without losing on time. That way your timeout percentage will drop below 10%.

how do i get track of my timeout percentage?

Go to "My Online Chess" On the right hand side under moves, there should be something that says timeout percentage.

MRQuad, mouse over "My Home" in the top-right corner and then click on "Online Chess" in the drop-down menu that appears. On the online chess page that appears, way down at the bottom-right, you should see: Timeouts: 4 (17%).

You'll need to complete 16 games without timing out to get your timeouts down to 10%.
