I had the same problem at the beginning...because we give, to the victory and the rating, too much importance.

...but after games and games ...who care if i lose.....and who care for the rating.

And if you dont care for the rating, and you play free of mind, the problem desappear.

What exactly makes you nervous? play a lot of unrated games till you get accustomed to online chess.Then switch to rated ones.
