New animation at start of match costs white 5 seconds every game

I don't know if it's just me, but the new animation added to the app (where the names come down onto the board for a moment) locks up the game for 3-5 seconds while white's timer runs. In bullet games, that's a significant disadvantage. Is there a way to disable that animation?
Chess.com have their best people trying to fix this issue right now as we speak, be patient my good gentleman and good luck in future bullet games
