No, you must be talking about the Android app since there has been nothing major new with the IOS app recently.
The analysis is certainly much better. It runs much faster and goes into much greater depth.
I don't think there was ever a Game Explorer on the Android app.

There is an explorer for ongoing Daily games. It's been a while since I used the old app, but I may have been available outside of there as well.
