Hello to all! New to site...new to chess sites period, away from the game 25 years.

Welcome back!  Lots of good resources here for a diamond member.  The Chess Mentor has some great courses.  You probably need to review your tactics and there are a few dozen courses for that.  I just use a computer so I have no idea what the experience is for a smart phone user (from your other thread).  I do know the mobile apps seem to generate the most complaints unfortunately.  I'm an old retiree and I enjoy helping folks navigate the site, but alas I know nothing about smart phones.  Anyway good luck.  I don't know if you can do a "search forums" from a smart phone, but all these forums are archived so sometimes the quickest way to get an answer to a question is just to wade through a few dozen old threads.

That's an interesting question, but also a stumper. I'm afraid you'll have to ask Jethro to cipher out the answer.

Thank you both; my literacy in the realm of computer-focused jargon is reprehensible. On the android app(s), while topics are arranged well enough from a theme perspective, once you choose one, it appears. a crap-shoot. Is there no site primer, no navigation soft ware?
