Is whether or not you continue to play chess purely dependant upon you being a good player? Personally, I feel that you have your priorities wrong. Also, everybody is terrible when they first start. Assuming that you are truely new to the game then your play will be terrible no matter your intelligence/talent. I don't need to review your game to make such a claim.

Depends on how much enjoyment you get out of it.

Talent in chess is basically having a burning love for the game and never letting go.

No-one is born a chess superstar.

Okay, your age is very important. If you truely are new to chess then your rating is very impressive (assuming it is accurate, simply play more games to clarify this). Age is such a huge factor when determining potential though, how old are you?

The bad news is that you will never be one of the worlds best, even with all of the talent in the world, a great coach and all of your time dedicated to the game. The good news is that you can still become a very strong player and enjoy the game. I have heard great thinigs about joining a club to speed up improvement but cannot speak from experience. I think that if you enjoy the game then it would be silly not to pursue it. Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
