Yeah hey NotworththeCastle - I'd say that Marshall's Chess Swindles is exactly that - a swindle. That book is pure and simple money grabbing - the guy doesnt have a clue wot he's talking about, most of it is slander and inaccurate, I wouldnt listen to any of it. The money he's made out of that book is disgraceful - more than most honest men make in a lifetime. We should be boycotting the sale of the book - if you still have the receipt - I'd take it back to the shop and get a refund.

Hey guys, just joined Chess.com today and I've got a quick question for you. I've just finished reading Marshall's Chess Swindles and it seemed to contradict info I picked up watching a chess documentary on tv when I lived in Germany. There seems to be some suggestion this opening was actually used in error by Nimzowitsch and that the true discovery of this move should be attributed to Frank Marshall himself. Wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.
Cheers
