No news about josh waitzkin?

I usually paractice in my chessmaster software and am a great fan of josh.he is really good at teaching and plays strongly.as I studied his background he was promoting remarkably since age6.but to my amazement I do not hear anymore of him.is he still an IM or has he gained his GM.what is his world rating?please tell me about him

He quit playing chess years ago, like before the year 2000. He mostly just focuses on martial arts now.

Rating before quitting though...I believe was somewhere in the 2450 range.

  Josh retired from chess a long time ago as an IM with no GM norms and he is now a martial arts champion in the push hands discipline. He's written a couple of books here and there and besides Chessmaster and writing, he really doesn't do much with chess nowadays.
