With the age of information we are in I think you'll see a lot more child prodigies in the near future. So much chess info online, ease to practice (online), and of course chess engines, it's a lot more convenient to learn and study chess than a few decades ago.
About a year ago, didn't Nodirbek become the first player in years to take two games off of Carlsen in a row? In classical time control?
