Non-standard Chess Games

Anybody know if Chess.com is going to start supporting Chess derivatives? In other words, can we play, chinese chess, thai chess, etc. on Chess.com? Just though that it might be interesting to be Chess inclusive considering our Flattening world.

Thanks!

How about Bughouse! Seriously, I think shogi (Japanese chess) would be a good idea.

any of you want to write the javascript rules of those games and do all of the images? :D

I don't like the idea of adding variants. Why can't we just stick to old fashioned chess?

Although on a side note, bughouse is very addicting! I remember in my younger days I would play that all the time. But now nothing but standard long time control classical chess for me  :)

Bughouse? Wow, I must be way out of it since I've never heard of that.

As for the Javascript and graphical support. It shouldn't be to hard to re-code some moves for the more closesly related variants. hm... that actually might be an interesting project.

Anyone know who I should talk to to even begin thinking about this? Of course, the purist would have to be saited with a blood sacrifice of some sort.

Whoops! I guess I should just read more about Chess.com before asking who I should ask about this stuff.  My apologies!

 And great work!

I would like it, as a kind of side-section or something could be interesting, I played once chinese chess, enjoyed it.
