You probably aren't doing anything wrong. What is likely occuring is that it sometimes takes the system as long as 10 minutes to realize that you are no longer on the site. So, if your opponent makes their move in that time, you will not get an e-mail because the system thinks you are still logged on. My recommendation would be to play longer games, and maybe play a few additional games. This way, you can simply log on regularly, and likely have at least one game waiting for you each time you log on.
Not wanting to timeout

I am not getting the email notices consistently to let me know it's my turn to move. I do receive emails, but a game I had running just timed out because I did not receive an email. I did receive the email telling me I've lost on time.
Does this happen to anyone else? It's the second time for me. Am I doing something wrong?
