Note to app developer: iPads and iPhones are not the same.

I don't know if that's the cause of the continuing problems with the iPad app, which the "app Store" indicates is the same as the iPhone app, but something is. Even with the new roll-out, after a day or so of adequate functionality (an improvement over earlier versions), I now have to delete and reinstall the app to get it to work.  Sometimes logging out and then in again will help, but not always, and that's unacceptable in any event.  The iPhone/iPod Touch works fine if one is willing to play nano-chess, but the iPad version doesn't.  What gives?

I'm trying to reproduce the issues on my own iPad now, but without much luck...

@TheBlueBishop - Do you have an iPad 2 or the original? What is the specific problem you are seeing? Does the app crash... on login/start-up, or at some other point?

Thanks much!

It is working fine on my ipad (I am now using the ipad 2).

The only issue I have occassionally on either the iphone or ipad is that it may continue to show alerts on the app icon after you have taken care of them. But that is not often.

It is much easier to access these forums from a regular computer but that is a problem with the ipad, not the app.
