Notifications stopped working

That does sound frustrating — you’re not the only one who’s run into this recently.
If your settings in the app are already correct, here are a few things you can try on your Android device:

Check app notification permissionsGo to: Settings > Apps > Chess.com > Notifications and make sure they’re all enabled.

Battery optimisation settingsGo to: Settings > Battery > Battery optimisation, find the Chess.com app, and set it to Not optimised (some devices block background notifications otherwise).

Clear app cacheGo to: Settings > Apps > Chess.com > Storage > Clear Cache — don't tap "Clear Data" unless you’re okay logging in again.

Reinstall the appSometimes a fresh install fixes weird bugs after an update.
If none of that helps, you can also report the issue at Chess.com Support. Hopefully they’ll get it sorted soon!
