Evaluations. 3 is equal to a pawn if I'm not wrong. +, advantage for white, - for black... Not a good idea using engines until you are very experienced though, imho.

Correct, except 1 usually "equals" a pawn, 3 "equals" a knight or bishop...
sometimes you see #9 which means, "forced mate in 9"
when you see evaluations like -59 it means you're pretty much losing, but the computer can't find the exact checkmate yet. -59ish would be like "checkmate in maybe 40 moves, the computer can't see that far ahead but knows that forcing moves from here on out will only continue to gain material and positional trumps."
During the analysis the numbers come up. Could someone please tell me what these mean?
