If I play a game I'd like to study, I'd like to be able to download a transcript of the game.  It would also be preferable it it was in some standard format what would allow it to be input into chess applications.

Is this possible?

Second, as part of studying a game, I would like to be able to take the game onto a practice board at any point in the game, and play both sides forward, to play what if's?
