I find this offensive and making it real hard to play in this site. Can this player be banned?

You should educate yourself. That is a Nazi Swaztika. Black, clockwise, on white circle with red background. There is no debate about what that symbol is or what kind of sick scum of the earth would display it.
You giving me "the finger" means nothing, because i dont take it the way you want me to. Its a symbol, and as George Carlin said: "I leave symbols, to the symbol minded."
In general I'd probably agree, and I also think people are too sensitive...
But in this case it's a freakin' swastika, the guy should change it or be banned.

IMBacon is correct. That symbol was around for thousands of years before they turned it in to how it's viewed nowadays and it was/is the exact opposite meaning for a whole lot of people still today. IMBacon didn't say it wasn't a Nazi swaztika. He just said what else it is and that doesn't make him some closet Nazi.
As suggested, use the 'report abuse' button or submit a ticket. Swaztikas are verboten.
Which means they'll be asked to change it, and if they don't, it will be removed by Staff and/or the moderators. Generally it is not in itself something Chess.com bans people for, although if there are other factors we may do so.
I agree with the OP - if the user is not banned, at least he should be warned and told to remove the picture. It is not a Hindu svastika, it's clearly a Nazi symbol with an intention to offend. Very embarrassing for me personally to see the Indian flag on this profile.
The Hindu (sanskrit) svastika is lot different from the one Nazis used -

EdoubleU52 : First let me respond that I did not choose to use the Israel flag and I myself find it offensive. I am aware that this symbol represents education in the east (e.g. in Nepal). The SS cross is not used in those color for anything but nazi symbolism.

IMBacon (again) : You should educate yourself on holocaust survivors, try showing this symbol to one of them and see how a symbol can cause strong emotional pain. see how it affect their children as well. I grew up in Israel, which I despise and I despise that I have to mention that I despise it every time I talk to intelligent people online. anyway, growing up in Israel you see actual people who went through the concentration camps and who have had their entire family murdered. Maybe you would see things different if you were here. maybe Israelis would have brainwashed you into an emotional conditioned response triggered by this symbol. I would not blame you for that, I would respect the fact that this symbol offends you, regardless of the irrationality behind it. I hope that you will find warmth in your heart and stop intellectualizing Nazism. Thanks for responding.
What can I say? You find it offensive but not the chess.com administration. Deal with it. Everyone says it's your made-up thing and it has nothing to do with nazism (though a black swastika on a white disc with a red background is clearly the nazi flag). And you should have won the game, instead you lost.
You guys. I don't like Israel, I did not serve in the military and could have been jailed for it. Learn to distinguish between a state and the people that live in it. I did not vote for Benjemin NotOnYahoo, I voted for a party that is all Arabs. please read the discussion before commenting to reveal your ignorance and biased preconception. All I have a problem is with actual Nazis, and I am willing to discuss it in a civilized manner. peace!
