The Indian types can be detected by their peculiar format of English, Indian English I think it is called.
Chinese people don't speak English at all, so if I find somebody using words like Ying, Yi, Yu, Yen, or Yang, well.

The country matters because he is hoping that one free lesson will lead to more paid lessons, and the OP believes that those from more affluent countries are more likely to be willing to pay for additional lessons. It’s not complicated. I don't have a problem with it. Coaches have to make a living.
How is the USA and UK a poor country they are some of the richest in the world, and punishing people for living in certain country? Most of them aren’t allowed to leave it’s not their fault

India’s per capita gdp is $1900. US per capita gdp is $63,500. By almost any measure it is considered poor.

Tactics: Basic tactics, skewers, forks, pins, etc
Pattern Recognition: How to spot routinely occuring chess positions and play them accordingly
Opening theory and an analysis of the top openings for white and black.

There are no trial versions. In chess, as in life, there are only real versions.

The course is simple, you get your first lesson free. If you like it, then pay me a dollar, maybe two, maybe 3, if you are from India etc. If you pay, then you get the next lesson.
