One of the oldest tricks in the book. Sore, sore losers don't want to resign, so they want at least a draw. I even had an OBT opponent in 3 minute blitz ACTUALLY ASK ME TO RESIGN while I was winning.
I saw that on The queen's gambit series too. Some playera offer a draw one last time before resigning.
Must be an old fashion thing.
