What the old school chess players used to consider an inventive move nowadays people know as a book move. The former have no chance against the new generation at least in the opening. They will almost always be outplayed in the opening. However, in the endgame I guess nobody can outplay Capablanca. My verdict? New generation will win by a big margin.
