On Cosmopolitan girls

Some years ago i had a personal conversation with the president of a chessclub here in Athens.I told him that in order that chess-friendly places become more healthy,we should target girls who read Cosmopolitan!

He was totally negative to my proposal!In fact he considered it a degradation for the chessworld to target Cosmopolitan girls (or boys) as potential players.After all,Gelfand suggested that whoever can't watch long games may as well try Lady Gaga's shows!Apart from that,i know at least three goodlooking female chessplayers of around 1800 rating strength,who are open to the cosmopolitan lifestyle.

What about you?

"Open to the relative lifestyle"?  You mean like kissing cousins?  I'm not convinced they'd make great chess players:
