Correspondence chess and Daily chess are different, I think.
I thought you were allowed to use engines in Correspondence chess.
You are not allowed to use engines on Daily chess. Just game databases, books, etc. Which means you actually need to understand what you are doing rather than copying a move. Many Daily players dont even use those resources, they play Daily for the longer time control and being able to play 50, 100, or more positions at once.
"Correspondence chess" is a broad term that refers to playing a game in a correspondence format. Historically this was played via post cards, but in the modern era it's usually played over the internet.
ICCF correspondence chess tournaments permit engine use.
Chess.com's daily chess also fits within the definition of correspondence chess, but does not allow engine use.

@61 yeah daily is a lot different than anything else and is usually just for learning purposes...I don't view it the same as any other time control...due to the rules
