I play chess because I find it fun. I typically spend an hour per day playing chess.

I like to play to improve my skills in strategy and to learn to be very concentrated. I spend around 1 hour per day currently.

that's not necessarily a bad thing. if you have that much free time and enjoy the game there's nothing wrong with that.
I play chess because it's a beautiful game. I spend about an hour per day analysing my ongoing games.
