Online Chess -- Offering a Draw

Sorry if all this sounds naive; but I am new.  I offered my opponent a draw (we're well into midgame, 11-11 (if that means anything--but material is even and position about the same)... I've asked for a draw, and it says here on the computer that I'm waiting for a response to an offer for a draw.  On the APP, it is showing he made another move, and I'm down to 2 days---here it still shows three.  How long do I wait to see if this guy is even considering accepting, or waiting for my time to run down?  Some of you more experienced folks might lend a hand here! 

you have to make your move regardless of waiting or not.

actually in otb games you make your move and offer draw.

it is not like you made it his turn by offering draw.

Ok... thanks.. my opponent -- at least on this site, says draw offer made and shows I still have 3 days.... on the app...it shows his move and 2 days and counting--- I guess the inconsistency is what is confusing.
