Online chess rank is no longer a measure of true skill. Pointless.
Its just wild how skilled the 850 to 1000 elo blitz here is imo. I never seen play this strong in otb in this elo range...
Massive disparity between rapid, and blitz, perhaps just down too people playing 10s of thousands of games, but one would think, because rapid has twice as much time the strength of play would be skewed towards rapid...

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount. The vast majority of games and players are clean.

There are far to many people using a engine for a couple of moves then dominating the mid and late game. The blitz scene here is loaded with soft use imo. At no time should a 850 blitz player consistently be making 85% accuracy, while making best move, every move and nearly making no errors of trades or positions. I wonder if online chess is pointless and impossible to keep fair play fair, because its far easyer to play a 1300 rapid here then a 850 blitz imo.
