Online chess

Does anyone here think Online Chess will negatively affect how you play in OTB games? because its correspondent chess and its not OTB and it looks like it can affect how you play OTB in a bad way, and you dont move for a couple hours...

And yeah.. any thoughts on this?

Online chess as in 1 day/move up to 14 days/move

Spending over 5 minutes on a move in correspondence chess drastically reduces the chance for success, translating to poor OTB moves. (with exceptions)  Usually the best move comes within the first minute of thinking, and when a play is over analyzed, usually the play's effectiveness is tainted. 

Most people will notice that a complete analysis of looking too deep into moves appears almost equivalent to having a couple of beers. =) (seems like it to me)

I don't think so because it actually helps me. It serves as a practice to me =]
