FM William Stewart is a great person, but I wouldn't say his effectiveness as a chess teacher is off the charts. I have taken a 12-hour extended course which focused on my middlegame understanding (I was rated ~1700 at the time) back in late 2011-early 2012, but I often found myself waiting for more from him. A great guy, can play blitz really well, but not particularly convincing when teaching/explaining openings. Would not recommend for anyone rated under 1800 at the moment.
