Would switch the cancel and submit buttons between the old and new programs

Once your brain gets used to doing it one way it continues to do it that way

I have lost many a game because the buttons were switched meant to cancel and submitted instead

quit programming whoever you are - a bit of advice from a professional programmer

Bigdukesix

No need for a screen shot the submit move and cancel move buttons are switched between the old and new

Bigdukesix

The old chess.com verses the new chess.com

in the old chess.com the submit move icon or button or whatever you want to call it was to the left of the cancel move ---  in the new chess.com it is on the right of the cancel button - when you do it a million times one way that is way your brain is programmed  to do it.

The YouTube video one is a bit tough, no second thoughts about it. But the thing you are talking about is really simple. You just need to open your eyes and read the buttons instead of just rushing through. Don't rush through life bro, you tend to miss a lot of things if you do so.

It is about consistency across platforms - that is the point of my post - of course if I hit the wrong icon it is all on me - no doubt about that

No problem - Five minutes a day of pressing the button, and after eight months, you'll get the hang of it. ;)

The submit button is still on the right for me?? (iOS) Maybe you have left hand mode toggled on (if there's such a thing)

So you'd rather blame someone else because you didn't take an extra second to actually read?

Most of us also don't publicly insult the programmer either.
