Oops!

In OTB or online, have you ever made an exclamation or some other outward display of dismay at a move you just made, when as far as you can tell it is a perfectly sound move?

Its one thing to have a good poker face when you realise you just left a pawn hanging, but this is taking it to the next level.

I suppose that you could make your opponent take an extra minute to look for a winning combination that isn't there or even to provoke him into a rash attack.

The reason I bring this up is an opponent in Live said something that made me think there was a mistake to capitalize on but I saw no such thing. I would like to think that she was just using "enhanced tactics" in place of the more likely possibility that I am just a bad chessplayer.

nah, i am not a good enough chess player to see my mistakes until a piece falls off the board.

on the other side, though, i did feel bad when a player made a move i didn't expect (not a new phenomonon for me) and i said "good move".  then i found a tactic that took two rooks in the next three moves and led to a resignation not long after.  i felt pretty low since i really wasn't mocking them, but it probably appeared so.  i did not get a "gg" afterwards.

sometimes I (used to) say oops when there's something I didn't notice when I made my move, but then after I say oops, I look at it more and see that it actually still works out. It could be that. An honest mistaken oops. I dont say oops anymore because I play 1 min games.

Fide Laws of Chess, Article 12.6:

It is forbidden to distract or annoy the opponent in any manner whatsoever. This includes unreasonable claims, unreasonable offers of a draw or the introduction of a source of noise into the playing area.

I have a tendency to yell "Onions!"

I mumble, swear, pace, perspire profusely, rock to and fro, hoot like a barn out, eat cheetos, and sometimes do jumping jacks while I play chess.  However, as I play correspondance chess, the only real result of this is that the men in the white coats readjust my medication, again, which is alway a pain.

I've heard that some players would do the "oops" while playing the Blackburne shiling gambit. They just blundered a pawn(or so it seems) :-)

Only against my pals do I make a nuisance of myself; however, I do generally swear, throw pieces, call my opponents rude names, gesticulate needlessly, and occassionally strike or be stricken upon.  On chess.com, I am fortunate to be able to conduct myself like an animal in the comfort and peace of my own home.  The odds of getting attacked or arrested are significantly lower, as well.
