Hello, so I've been playing a lot of London System as white and Black Lion as black, which are the two openings I've spent the most time on. Like I just needed something to cling on to the get a foothold in my openings. When I first started out with Chess I only played Italian Game, and that seemed to lead to a type of tactical open game that I don't see so often with the London System and the Black Lion, so now I'm trying to expand my opening repertoire so that I also play Italian game (again) and the Sicilian Defense, and with both these I usually get these open types of tactical games that I find very fun. But I also like more closed games - it is more calm and controlled in a way - not leading to any unexpected surprises. Not exactly sure what I'm asking about, but I guess I'm trying to figure this all out and I would like to have a dynamic opening repertoire, so if anyone has any comment to this I would be very grateful :-)
