Maybe , but then white is a pawn up and tempo up (because white) easier game then black, especially in a fast time controls.
Black should go with the sac and try to trap the queen, but they need to be booked up on this to know how to do it.
What book do you have if you don't mind me asking ?

Does your book have any other opening surprises , similar to this? Can you please post it here at least one if you can please it would be very interesting to learn and know also some explanations I'd you can too. Thank you for your time.
Please post a diagram or move notations what tricks do you know in Alapin to win or outplay black or maybe just surprise them .
M personal favorite is this :
1. e4 c5
2. c3 d5
3. e × d5 Q × d5
4. d4 g6
5. d × c5 Q × c5
6. Be3 Qc7
7. B × a7 R × a7
8 Qd4
Whites grabs an extra material and black isolates white Queen from the game and later trying to trap it (which is not that easy).
Please be free to post my variation on a diagram if you can , thank you I appreciate that.
