Openings vs Computer

Hello all,

I'm pretty new here.  What I would like to ask is there a way to tell the computer to play a certain opening?  I don't know many openings and would like to play a number of moves against E4, D4 etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Sure.  Learn>Analysis>Setup.  When you get the opening you want set up, look to the bottom right where there are a bunch of little symbols.  When you drag your cursor across them. the function pops up.  You want "Practice vs. computer"; I think it's like a little circle with a dot inside.  Have fun!

Glad to help.    There are actually multiple ways to do this.  You could also do Learn>Openings>look for the "Practice vs. Computer" symbol and click on it.   Pretty sure you can do it from the Explorer as well...
