Opponents Randomly Timing Out?

Has this happened to you before?
I've recently had multiple separate blitz games where my opponent either disconnected or timed out. As I've climbed higher this trend has puzzled me. Is it just a coincidence or is there some other reason that I'm missing?
There's also been more instances of opponents resigning very quickly, which I'll link to below.

All of these games occured on the same day (September the 16th) during one of my grinds. I'm extremely confused and am slightly worried that my current rating isn't accurate due to these abnormal circumstances.
