Intresting idea, though I doubt it'd get used. Also, challenge the opponent to a daily game as that isnt affected by connection issues much.

Today I was in a very fun game when my opponent lost connection. He was given 30 seconds to reconnect before auto resigning. He was unable to and I won.
The thing is I did not want to win on the time out, I wanted to keep playing the game. He had plenty of over all time on the clock and I understand that people play from all over the world and not every has the greatest internet. Because the game was a fun one (and quite close), I would have been more than willing to wait and give him more time to reconnect, but that is not an option.
While I understand the need for the automatic time out, it would be great if there was a button for the disconnected person to allow the opponent more time to reconnect. It really should be up to the players to decide if they want to wait longer, especially when both players have plenty of clock time left.
