Nobody has played in a tournament before?
Ordinary tournament game?
Tactics trainer is nothing like a rated game. It's just to help you recognize certain patterns in a real game (quickly?). In a real game no one's gonna look over your shoulder and tell you that you have a mate in three.
The tactics trainer doesn't look over your shoulder, and tell you that you have a mate in three either. I was just lalking about the timing of the moves, for cryen out loud.
I was thinking they might be based on the average time taken in a tournament game or something. All I can say is, I suck at em when I try to stay in the time limits most of the time.
Is the tactics trainer on here timed like an ordinary tournament game?
