OTB Chess Tournament

Hi guys, I was meant to be playing in an otb chess tournament this weekend but unfortunately have come down with a cold - feeling pretty miserable. If I don't attend I presume my games will be defaulted and none of the will effect m grading?

Send an e-mail / phone call to let them know you can't be there. Otherwise someone will be paired with you and they wont get to play.

But yes, you rating is not affected when you lose by not attending.

Let them know you can't make it. You might get a refund.

Also, you get removed from the attendees and don't get paired in the first round.

Your rating is not affected. However, you don't want someone sitting down waiting for you.
