What does "OTB" exactly means?
"Over the board." It means play with real pieces sitting across from a live opponent. Therefore, Dutch's rating is probably his US Chess Federation rating, achieved through face-to-face tournament play.

Mine's 1366. As you can see, I am much better at correspondence than OTB. :)
how can u be 2000 in corresp and -1400 on OTB?
is it cos u get nervous or what? do u analyze those games at home afterwards and see a million mistakes?
i would think a rating difference is understandable as some people would prefer and be stronger at either otb or correspondence. just as you get some people who prefer sprinting to long distance. however, a 600 point difference seems to me to be extreme. if i was to play against a person who has that big a difference, i would first ask them for an assurance that they are not using a database or an engine before accepting a challenge
Make sure you don't make a public accusation. If you have something to say, you should send site feedback, even though it can be tempting to make a public accusation.
Well, I'm 1635 OTB and around 1800 here. On other turn-based sites I've played on my rating is in the 1600s.
Well, I have only played about 20 rated games so maybe my rating does not reflect my actual playing level. But, I do like correspondence much more because I get much more time to think.
